Every time I photograph a wedding in our beautiful South West, I have a strong urge to move down there, away from the hustle and bustle. Ash and Conor got ready in Dunsborough with the boys getting a few shots at Caves House in Yallingup. The ceremony was at Castle Rock Beach, along the Meelup Trails on the Dunsborough coast. The day before it had rained and we got a few showers right up till the ceremony. It was touch and go but luckily the beautiful weather came out and apart from a little sun shower, we had an amazing sunset and evening for the reception.
Wills Domain is absolutely amazing - the service was fantastic and I was looked after very well. It's always nice when a venue treats the wedding vendors like a valued human. We are trying to do the best job we can for our clients, so to be looked after like a guest is wonderful.
I loved all the details in Ash and Conor's day: the elegant and relaxed Samantha Wynne gown; the very yummy looking 'homemade style' cake by Bake the Cake; lighting by Cape Marquees, and all the native bouquets and centrepieces that the girls put together. Just a beautiful romantic, rustic and relaxed combination! Thanks go to Jennifer Etherington too for another lovely ceremony service.
Congratulations :) xo
