An amazing day was had by all. For February, the weather was quite mild in the low 30s, with a balmy tropical sunset floating about in the evening. I knew we were going to have a fun day when Kristen and her bridesmaids started playing Jenga. Bridal Jenga. You're my type of gal Kristen.
The always enigmatic Father Joe conducted the ceremony, always a barrel of laughs and goodwill he is! Gorgeous church at the Holy Rosary in Nedlands. Kristen organised a permit to shoot in the grounds of Government House Perth. Well this was a first for me (which is awesome; I'm always looking for new locations for portraits!) and it was incredible. I could have spent hours there finding little nooks and crannies of cute backgrounds and filtered afternoon light. We really do have it lucky in Perth. I know it gets hot sometimes in summer but we have such stunning light to use to our advantage.
The always lovely Acqua Viva was the reception location and we popped out at sunset for some soft romantic portraits on the jetty. Fabulous job by Katie Cooper Floral Design with all the bouquets and reception set ups - simply stunning, plus an amazing cake by Happy Cakes, decorated with fresh florals.
Congrats M + K! x
