After a day of torrential rain threatening us in mid-March, I grew a little anxious about the wedding in Yallingup in WA's South West the next day. But the day turned out perfect and the rain thoroughly refreshed all the beautiful gardens around Caves House and suddenly it looked like a spring wedding. I love weddings where you are in the same place for the ceremony and reception, and in this case the portraits as well. It is so relaxing for the guests and the bridal party as well. Lucie and Brett and their families got ready in the hotel only a few doors away from each other and you could see the ceremony spot from the bridal suite. The cloud cover was lovely for the ceremony - no dappled light in sight - and continued for the location portraits as we walked around the grounds.
A gorgeous sunset from the balcony at Caves House before the reception inside the Yallingup Room with lovely details. Beautiful, radiant Lucie with her elegant dress (with pockets, trés cool) and her stylish groomie, congratulations!
