Saturday turned out to be such a beautiful day, photographing alongside the fabulous Erinna at the wedding of Kate and Mark Bain. The weather held out, the light was gorgeous and the bride was stunning. One of the reasons I love weddings is to see families come together to celebrate and this day was no exception. Lovely, happy people sharing in Kate and Mark’s joy.
Also, a quick shout out to Aaron from Everafter Productions. Aaron and I actually went to Uni together many, many years ago! Great to catch up with you!
Kate, you look so happy here. Not long to go now…
Teanna, Kate’s flowergirl getting ready.
I love this next one…
Ready to go, freshly lip-glossed!
What a stunning dress Kate chose. Her mum, Lynn, threaded the ribbon carefully while
Erinna and I got some great images.
Kate and Teanna, about to leave for the ceremony.
Love this…
Lynn about to walk her daughter down the ‘aisle’ that is the footpath through
the gardens of Kings Park to the Water Pavilion.
A quick look at the surrounds on the way to the ceremony.
Bridesmaid Jodie looks on.
Awww…
‘Hands off! He’s mine!’
The bubbles added such a great atmosphere to the day and as Erinna pointed out on her
blog, followed us right into the reception!
The Monarch butterflies were a present from Lynn, Kate’s mum, and a surprise to the bride and groom.
I LOVE this shot! What an expression!
Kate reorganises her dress, showing off her newly acquired ring.
Hugs all round!
The ever-amusing groomsmen, Ronald and Brenton.
I love Kaleb the pageboy’s body language in this shot - ‘You’ve kissed enough already!’
Kate shares a laugh with her proud dad.
A quiet moment.
Man, these two were adorable!
Stunning cars for a stunning bride and groom.
Wow, the light filtering through the trees was AMAZING. It truly was a photographer’s dream.
I had so many favourites from this part of the day.
One of my favourites - such a beautiful moment.
Dancing in the afternoon glow…
This is me multitasking- holding a video light for Erinna and taking piccies at the same time!
Onto the reception at the Esplanade in Freo.
A special gift for a special pageboy.
What a great cake! Mark’s grandparents made it and I love the little likenesses of Kate and Mark on top. Cute!
Thank you Mark and Kate for letting me be a part of your day. I wish you and your family all the best for the future.
