The Wedding of Fran and Armand

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Fran and Armand’s lovely wedding at Belvoir Homestead. My second shooter Angela and I had such a ball with these guys and their awesome family and friends. The children were absolutely gorgeous, with Fran and Armand’s 17 week old baby stealing the show in the cutest and smallest of tuxes! Fran’s girls weren’t far behind - all princesses, as Armand said during his speech (during which I shed a tear!)

The highlight of the night would have to be Fran and her girls doing the haka. One guest said it sent shivers up their spine and I couldn’t agree more. They were amazing!

Congratulations Fran and Armand!

Availability

I have 3 dates left for 2008: The weekend of 1st/2nd November, the weekend of 29th/30th November and the weekend of 13th/14th December. I will only be doing one wedding per week so essentially there are only 3 dates out of those weekends.

Also, I am nearly fully booked for March and April next year - it is a very popular time! I only have either the 14th or 15th of March available, apart from mid-week weddings.

ETA: Okay, down to 2 dates for ‘08. The weekend of 1st November has now been taken!

Engagement Session - Kim, Alex and Ashton

Sunday morning. 6am. Weather wakes me up - winds thrashing around, rain bucketing down, our power goes out. Engagement session at 8am with Kim, Alex and their son Ashton. Hmmm…

And apart from a small amount of drops, a threatening and cloudy sky and choppy, stormy waves crashing on the beach, it was a stunning morning. Actually I love this weather but usually from the inside looking out!

I met Kim and Alex at Point Peron and the weather held off for us until I started driving home.

Engagement Session: Mastura and Yusri

I had such a fabulous time on Saturday with these two. I can’t wait for their wedding in November as it will be something completely different for me. I’ll be covering the photography over two weekends - once for the traditional ceremony and the next week for their reception and celebrations.

These were taken at Point Walter, a place I have such an affinity for, having lived close by for 3 years in the past. The weather gods smiled on us and we had a beautiful morning.

I’m so thrilled with these images; although it always helps having a gorgeous couple to work with! I’ll be designing a guest book for Mastura and Yusri so look out for the piccies of that in the next few weeks.
