New Pricing from October

I am currently restructuring my pricing, both for weddings and portraits. I will be altering the way I do things a little, especially in regards to albums. Portrait packages will also be a new feature, rather than the a la carte system I have at the moment.

These changes will not affect current clients of course.

The changes will almost certainly start from October 1st this year. If you would like to book at my current pricing levels, especially for weddings, get in quick! Prices will not be going up a great deal, but my collections are being shifted around a little.

Please contact me if you would like a current pricelist.

Meeting times

Since wedding season is approaching fast (yay!), I will no longer be able to meet with clients on weekends. I have time available during some weekdays and two evenings per week if you would like to set up appointment times.

I still have some days available for weddings and portrait sessions this year. Currently, I have 5 spots left available for weddings in 2008.

Please contact me asap if you would like me to photograph your wedding this year.

Springtime at Araluen

Saturday morning I took the kiddlywinks up to Araluen for the Springtime Tulip Festival. I’d be doing myself a disservice if I didn’t go wouldn’t I? The kids had a ball running around while Charlie sat in his pram taking in all the colour and beauty like the calm little chap that he is. It’s such a lovely place to bring a picnic lunch, especially at the moment.

So, photos always tell it best. Here are a few from the day.

And who is this cute baby? Who does he belong to? Oh that’s right, he’s MINE! All mine!! Soooo cute…I think he is starting to grow into his chunkiness.

And some macro shots of the white tulips…I really don’t think I’ve seen purple tulips before. It was such an array of colour. I love colour. It totally brightens my day.Action shot! The kids were so excited running up and down and jumping over the little waterfalls. I just let them get that energy out. They fell asleep in the car on the way home. Bless.

My old energetic self!

Speaking of Thailand, this is what I went for last time. Sorry these are all from hubby’s point and shoot. I wasn’t about to risk good cameras 20m up in the air.

And the view…

Ignore the date btw. This was 2006, not 2003.

Only a few weeks until…

I go to Thailand again! Yay! Hubby and I are taking the kids to Patong in Phuket for a much-needed family holiday. Clever me has booked us into a fab hotel that has a special kids club that Toby and Amber can go to a couple of times while we go adventuring with Charlie. We also plan on going to the zoo, the snake farm (Toby wants to stroke a cobra, bless him), Fantasea to see the tigers and elephants and of course hitting the beach, the markets and eating lots of yummy Thai food.

I also cleverly organised a night in Bangkok to go shopping. We are staying at the hotel that links directly to this massive shopping centre called Mah Boon Krong (MBK) which you have to go to if you go to Bangkok. I was in awe last time we went (2 years ago). 6 floors of shopping heaven. Gorgeous shoes for $10. Bags, bags and more bags. Cute little tops that you just wouldn’t find anywhere else.

Of course I’ll be taking the 5D with me and have to pick out a couple of lenses (I have to limit myself or I’ll be charged with excess baggage). Maybe I’ll put together a little travel book of my adventures in Phuket with a husband, one 5 yo, one 7 yo and a baby. I’m sure it will be a bestseller. hehe

So I’m counting down the days. I’ll be lazing on this beach before I know it:
